The Cut Grass Halter captures that order and chaos in a light, engaging summer knit with lines, lace and texture.  The closure is a small button with a keyhole opening on the back. Suggested: 1” / 2.5 cm of positive ease for a slightly loose but breezy fit. For this desired outcome, choose a chest circumference of 1-2” /2.5-5cm more than actual chest size.

Suggested Yarn - Mindfulknits Medium/Worsted weight, 100% cotton. (100g balls = 120 yards/ 110 meters.

Main Colour(MC): Simply White. Approx. 101 (109, 125, 132) [139, 156, 163] (184, 203, 208, 226, 244, 287) yards / 110 (119, 137, 144) [152, 171, 178] (201, 222, 228, 247, 267, 314) meters.

Contrast Colour(CC): Hayward Fresh Green. Approx. 61 (67, 76, 82) [85, 95, 101] (112, 124, 127, 139, 150, 176) yards / 67 (73, 83, 90) [93, 104, 110] (123, 136, 139, 152, 164, 193) meters.

Needles - Circular 4mm / US 6 for hem and collar, 5mm / US 8 for body. Needle length, 16"/40cm for collar and 24 or 32"/60 or 80cm for the body.

Gauge: 16 Sts x 29 Rows in stockinette using 5mm / US 8 sized needle = 4 x 4"/ 10 x 10 cm.
